What the hell is Sporadic 'E'? Must be some ancient mode from
former times - in 2003 we proudly present Usual 'E'....
Yes, another day on 144 in Europe #26, the best season for
many many years. MUF was not quite high most of the day even
that 50 MHz was in a good shape. Again in the late afternoon
MUF was almost exploding, this time above the north-african
coast. And Jannis, SV3CYM was on as usual on 300 and made EA9
and a bunch auf EA7 while CT was into 9H1, IT9 and I5. Later
EA5 made 9H1 too and Nacho, EA1AK/7 had luck with SV9, 2.794 Km! At 17:29 UT the second cloud in the east
reached 144 MHz, again a nice opening for Genadij, RZ6BU and
the boys from UT5 to I, 9A, S5 and YU. This one lasted until
17:54 UT, a short one. From 16:00 UT until 16:45 BC from TA
and SV was booming in DL, nil so far on 144.
Involved DXCC: EA, EA9, CT, I, IT9, 9H1, SV, SV9, 9A, S5, UT, UA6
